About Voidwick
Voidwick is an independent editorial index of hotels. It covers four categories — art hotels, capsule hotels, casino hotels and ice hotels — and nothing else.
The premise is simple. Most hotel listings are long because length looks like authority. We think a short index that you can read end to end is worth more, so each category holds only the properties that clearly belong in it. The ice category has a single entry for that reason: genuine annually rebuilt ice hotels are rare, and inflating the list would be dishonest.
How entries are written
Every property is described in prose. No specification tables, no scoring, no key-value grids. We write about the building, its setting and the shape of a stay there, sticking to facts that are general and durable rather than details that change with the season.
You will not find star ratings, guest reviews or prices here, because we do not collect them and would not trust ours if we did. Fact tags beneath each entry are shorthand only, never a substitute for reading the text.
What we are not
Voidwick takes no bookings and holds no commercial relationships with the hotels described. Nothing on the site is sponsored, and no property has paid to appear or to be positioned anywhere in particular. Where a property includes a gaming floor, we say so plainly and describe it as one facility among many.
Corrections
Hotels change hands, close wings and reopen differently. If something here is out of date or wrong, we would rather hear about it than not — the contact page explains how.
